About Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport

Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport is the largest and busiest airports of Thailand. Airport is located in Racha Thewa in the Bang Phli district of Samut Prakan province, 30km east of Bangkok. Close to 20 million passengers fly in and out of (Bangkok) Suvarnabhumi International Airport each year. The airport is spread over 8000 acres. It serves as the hub airport for five airliners including - Bangkok Airways, Orient Thai Airlines, PBair, Thai AirAsia and Thai Airways International. Airport maintains two best in class terminals and two runways to manage air traffic.

Facilities

Airport can house-in 5000 cars at the parking lot. Long term car parking and an additional open space car parking for 1000 cars is also provided by the airport authorities. Major car rental services provider including Avis, Budget and Hertz can be easily located at the airport terminal. Money changers are located in hall on level 2, ATM's and public phones are also located within terminal.

There are multiple eating and shopping avenues in the airport. It is highly advisable to shop around in the duty free shops. Level 1, 2, 3 and 6 can be explored for eating options. Shopping options can be explored on levels 2, 3 and 4.

Passengers who have time on hand can get to experience a comfort traditional Thai Massage and soothing spa while at airport. Airliners' lounges are located on level 3, offering services like spa, massage, fine-dining, conference rooms, visual entertainment and deluxe seating arrangements.
